Some people can’t be pleased and some people won’t be good for you – and many times that will have nothing to do with you. #sorrynotsorry  You don’t need anyone’s approval but remember if someone is working hard to manipulate, it’s because probably because they need yours. 

Save your energy for something easier, like world peace. Or landing on a star.  

Toxic people will always see in others what they don’t want to acknowledge about themselves. 
You can’t please everyone, but toxic people will have you believing that you can’t please anyone – so you try harder: 

Be clear about your boundaries. 
They might get worse before they leave you alone. 

Understand why they’re seeing what they see in you. #vss 

Strength and compassion can exist beautifully together at the edge of your boundaries.  It will be always easier to feel okay about putting up a boundary if you haven’t hurt someone else in the process.
